A group of Shaker scholars and other enthusiasts from Boston to Western Mass, including Conn and the New England Region.
BASSG Events each year include:

- Unique site visits, led by Shaker scholars
- Private, behind the scene, museum tours
- Private collection tours
Members of the BASSG include members of Shaker seminar, museum curators and some of the preeminent private collectors.
